Spoilers are the true dark side of fandom. For the premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, we fought back against unwanted spoilers by creating a custom Sithtrooper helmet designed to keep fans safe from the galaxy’s most notorious plot twists. As fans lined up, the helmet ensured a spoiler-free zone, blocking out all the sound so they could experience the film without any surprises ruined. Spoiler alert: They didn’t hear a thing—and that was the point.
